Telcogames offers IQ training on your mobile

Hops on the brain training wave with new title

Mobile game publisher and developer Telcogames has announced the latest addition to its portfolio - a brain training and testing product called Mobile IQ Trainer, which will be launched worldwide in September.

The game uses a variety of logical puzzles, algebra challenges and spatial thinking tasks to create an IQ score for the user, and then challenges them to improve on this score by honing their skills with further play?

Sound familiar? Indeed, Telcogames itself admits to having been inspired by the success of Nintendo's enormously popular Brain Age and Brain Academy titles on the Nintendo DS, which have sold millions of units worldwide.

The firm describes Mobile IQ Trainer as bringing the genre to an even broader audience - and is even contemplating developing versions of the game for the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS in the future.

"A lot of people want games that are both fun and intellectually rewarding," explained Telcogames managing director Kim Shon. "Our game offers exactly this. The Mobile IQ Trainer TM game series will be attractive to a broad audience, appealing to a variety of ages regardless of the gender."
