Wroclaw, Poland, 02.09.2010 – Can't Stop Games studio, creators of Tanadu MMO strategy, announced the completion of newest update, featuring new gameplay mechanics. Brightest highlights of recent version are quests, which introduce a new way to involve players in the events of game world.

“Quests bring the world of Tanadu to life”, said Tomasz Wecki, PR Manager at Can't Stop Games. “Previously we had a game, where most important thing to do was climbing up the rankings. Yes, it's still there, and still fun, but now there's a lot more to do. With quests we aim to create a living background, which reacts to player actions and decisions. Interactions between the player and numerous, diverse NPCs drive the story onward, building up the impression of a world filled with conflicts, dangers – and emotions.”

The goal of recent update is also to improve the general game balance. Many changes were made to how combat units and spells interact with each other, making the game more strategical and heavier influenced by player decisions. Design of the rebalance was based on wishes and feedback from growing Tanadu community.

„This update is only the first of many, which will bring major changes to the game”, added Tomasz Wecki. „We plan to add crafting in the very near future, with collectible components to hunt for, recipes to unlock and ultra powerful end items to create. The team works also on guilds, which will allow players to congregate and fight for common cause. And of course, current quest pool will be vastly expanded.
