Take-Two announces plans for Asian expansion
Publisher plans to develop its presence in Asia, creating a new position and Singapore office
Take-Two Interactive Software has announced plans to expand further into Asia, creating the position of president for Asia and establishing an office in Singapore.
Hubert Larenaudie, formerly of Electronic Arts and Vivendi Universal Games, has taken up the new position and will spearhead Take-Two's expansion into the area.
Priorities will be to expand distribution in the Asia Pacific region for the company's interactive entertainment products and develop a stronger presence in Japan.
"I see exciting potential to build a significant Asia Pacific business for Take-Two, with a particular emphasis on the online game segment of the market," commented Larenaudie.
