Tag Games Hunt For New Talent!
Studio expansion planned for Scottish Head Quarters
For Immediate Release:
Dundee, Scotland, October 9th
Tag Games, casual game developer and creator of innovative original titles such as Dead Water, Rock'n'Roll and Car Jack City is expanding to meet the rapid growth in demand from the casual games market.
Tag, which was voted one of the UK's Top 50 Mobile Companies by O2/Real Business in early 2007, moved into new offices in the cultural quarter of Dundee - home of the games industry in Scotland - earlier this year.
Tag is now looking to fill a number of positions in the studio before the end of the year which will double the current head count. Tag is seeking entry and senior level programmers; entry and senior level game artists; a Head of Game Technology and a Game Architect.
Paul Farley, Managing Director commented "It's an exciting time for the games industry as new markets open up and the consumer becomes ever closer to the content provider. As a result there is a demand for our games that we simply cannot meet with our current development capacity. The new positions we are creating will not only enable Tag Games to meet current demand but also maintain our core principles of innovation, quality and delivery."
"The Game Architect position is one that is still relatively new and unknown to the majority of the games industry. The idea is that we blend the game design and project management tasks into one role and as such we feel it fits our development process perfectly. For the right candidate it really is a dream job!" states Creative Director Jamie Bryan.
Tag Games have two new titles Rock'n'Roll and Granny In Paradise released globally in Q4 2007 through Mobliss and SkyZone Entertainment respectively. The company has also just completed a innovative connected project for Sports Pro Limited. The studio's roadmap for 2008 includes Car Jack City which will launch in both 2D and 3D versions, as well as an as yet unnamed licensed casual games title.
