Synergenix launches PMGA Mini golf on mobiles
The first mobile game to be endorsed by the Professional Miniature Golf Association
Mobile entertainment publisher Synergenix has announced the launch of PMGA Mini golf, which will shortly be available through all major operators across Europe and Asia, with North American territories to follow.
The game, which uses an isometric display to allow as accurate a shot as possible, is the first ever mobile game to be officially endorsed by the Professional Miniature Golf Association of America.
Paul Hemingway, the Director of the PMGA, said: "Miniature golf is a great sport in that it's a game for all people - young and old; PMGA Mini Golf will bring the same camaraderie, excitement, and family fun that one associates with miniature golf in a format that can be played at anytime or anyplace."
Created by Italian developers Impressionware, the game features a series of single player challenges, but can also be played by up to four players using a single mobile handset.
Designed in conjunction with the PMGA, courses range from deserts and mountains to tropical beaches, and according to Synergenix, features authentic and realistic physics to accurately recreate the real game of miniature golf.
Synergenix is the European subsidiary of Kayak Interactive, which publish and distribute a wide range of mobile phone content in North America and Asia.
