Sweden's first games recruitment agency launches
September 6, 2007
For immediate release
The Swedish games industry is booming - but all is not well in the land of the midnight sun. A gignourmous headache for game companies is the shortage of staff. Much time and resources goes into finding talented people to hire. But fear not anymore! Finally a help for stressed out HR's has arrived.
GameJobs.se, Sweden's first specialist games recruitment agency is being headed up by industry veteran Marcus Legler:
"A growing problem is how much energy is put in by the companies to find the right people. Time that could be used on so many better things, and I'm not talking about hanging out around the water cooler. GameJobs.se is the simple answer since companies only reach already qualified talented and skilled persons through us. We're fast, cost efficient and have a great network of people. I mean, after spending a good part of my life in this manic industry it is impossible not to know loads and loads of people, something which obviously is quite helpful in launching this. We're primarily aimed at the Swedish/Nordic market but place people in Europe as well."
Already before officially launching, GameJobs.se has garnered much interest from both companies and people looking for new challenges. GameJobs.se is open for anyone in the games industry: from customer service and testing to marketing and game development.
