SwapGame introduces mobile site and iPhone web app
Subscribers now able to manage rental game lists on the move
UK games rental company SwapGame has released a new mobile version of its site, which will allow users to browse games and create and edit their rental lists when away from their computers.
The new mobile site will support all the latest mobile browsers, and a special iPhone and iPod Touch version has been launched via the Apple web apps site for users of the devices.
Browsing and searching the company's database of over 6000 games, available to rent for an unlimited time, is managed using categories for format, release date and popularity. It also incorporates a member rating and review system for each title.
The feature is the latest to be added to the 'SwapGame community', which already allows its members to interact with the company via Twitter and Facebook and download game data through RSS feeds.
SwapGame currently leads the online videogame rental market in the UK. The Coventry-based business was founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Marc Day.
