Support for Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode will end this month

"As you might have heard, its publisher is no longer in business," Mojang said

Support for Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode will be withdrawn on June 25, Mojang has announced.

The Swedish company made the announcement, "on behalf of the publisher," referring to Telltale Games, which closed down last year after hitting financial difficulties.

"As you might have heard, its publisher is no longer in business, which unfortunately means that Minecraft: Story Mode will no longer be supported," Mojang said on its official website.

Support for both seasons of Minecraft: Story Mode will be withdrawn on June 25, and Mojang has recommended that anyone who owns the game should, "download all remaining episodes prior to the service being discontinued in June."

Last week, GOG removed all of Telltale's products from its catalogue, and it is unclear when any of the games will be made available again.

However, 2K has stated that it is, "working to get Tales from the Borderlands back up on digital storefronts as soon as possible."
