Submissions required for GDC Mobile conference

Deadline set for September 5th

The CMP Game Group has announced that it is now accepting submissions for speakers at the forthcoming GDC Mobile 2007 conference, which is scheduled to take place in San Francisco next March.

Billed as "the premier professional conference" for creators, developers and publishers of mobile game applications and wireless entertainment, organisers are actively seeking proposals for presentations, panel sessions, lectures and roundtable events.

Jamil Moledina, GDC's executive director, commented: "With 'Take Control' as the theme for next year's GDC Mobile, we're looking for thought-provoking presentations that will challenge the current constraints and empower everyone in the mobile game industry to do just that.

"We're also encouraging developers to submit unique game applications for the 'World Tour of Mobile Innovations' session, a staple of the conference," he added.

Taking place during the Game Developer Conference at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco on March 5th-6th, 2007, conference tracks and topics include 3D programming, game design, production, audio, planning ahead and deals and distribution.

The deadline for submissions is September 5th and interested parties can find out more on how to submit a proposal, as well as further details on the conference agenda by visiting the official conference website.
