Stroz Royalty Forensics launch
Tim Christian's royalty audit services get thumbs-up from Rebellion and Eutechnyx.
London and New York, March 23, 2009 —
Tim Christian, a games industry veteran in both publishing and development since 1991, has established a new royalty audit organisation, Stroz Royalty Forensics, having left Media Forensics Ltd, the royalty audit company he co-founded in 2002. His new organisation is part of Stroz Friedberg, Inc., one of the world’s largest privately-held computer forensics investigations companies.
Stroz Friedberg acquired Data Genetics International Ltd, another company Mr. Christian co-founded, in December 2008. Mr. Christian is now VP and Chief Operating Officer at Stroz Friedberg Ltd., and is based in the firm’s London office.
Over the years, the industry veteran has led royalty and distribution deal audits at major publishers on behalf of some of the world’s leading development organisations. Jason Kingsley, CEO and Creative Director of Rebellion Developments Ltd, is recommending Mr. Christian’s new venture based on previous work, affirming that “Rebellion has worked with Tim and colleagues on a number of high-profile audits as part of our policy of good corporate governance. His levels of professionalism, industry knowledge and successful audit results are exemplary. We would not hesitate to recommend him and look forward to working with him again in the future.” Darren Jobling, Director at Eutechnyx Ltd, asserts, “Eutechnyx has successfully employed Tim Christian’s services in the field of forensic royalty auditing for the past 4 years. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone looking for a tenacious but professional auditor with a thorough knowledge of the games industry.”
Building on his 18 years of games industry experience--his prior audit company identified more than $20,000,000 in previously unreported royalties—Mr. Christian is eager to reconnect. Now, with the global clout and forensic support of Stroz Friedberg, he is confident that Stroz Royalty Forensics is positioned to dig even deeper and help clients recover royalties with even greater success and efficiency.
Commenting on the move, Mr. Christian said, “The tie-in with Stroz Friedberg promises a win-win outcome. Founding this operation opens the company to a whole new industry and introduces the games industry to the world of computer forensics, its usage and benefits. In terms of computer games royalty auditing, with Stroz Friedberg’s U.S. and European reach, it means a much greater local presence, enabling cost-efficient, timely, and effective audits. I’m looking forward to meeting new industry faces and reconnecting and working with many of my previous client companies and friends at the Games Developer Conference in San Francisco, March 23-27.”
