Stream Theory Digital Delivery Partners Are Launching "Games on Demand" Sites Throughout the World

More Than 55 Publishers Have Signed Up Over 550 Games for Play by Broadband Consumers

IRVINE, CA, 05/08/2006: Stream Theory Inc. reported today that several of its licensees are preparing to launch or have recently debuted Games on Demand sites featuring games from more than 55 publishers. From Europe to Japan, Stream Theory's patented StreamFlow platform is the technology with which its partners securely distribute XP-compatible games to broadband consumers under a variety of payment models.

Recent developments with several Stream Theory digital distribution partners attest to the versatility of the StreamFlow platform. Broadband Nexus operates a new Games on Demand site in the U.K. www.bbnexus.com (inside U.K.) or www.broadbandnexus.com/demo/ (outside U.K.) that includes both casual and hardcore games, with children's software & lifestyle/productivity titles to be added over the summer. StreamTech operates @Home Playz Games on Demand site for Essent Kabelcom with over 550,000 @Home broadband subscriptions in The Netherlands. This summer the site will convert from free trial to paid service with expanded titles. Milan-based Bizmatica is targeting Italy's telcos and broadband ISP's and will debut Games on Demand sites in the near future. More than 55 game publishers have licensed over 550 PC titles to Stream Theory for inclusion in Games on Demand sites operated by its digital distribution partners. New publishers and titles continue to be added on a regular basis. Casual to hardcore games, children's educational titles, productivity programs and other genres will be made available to broadband consumers through this powerful distribution network. A complete list of publishing partners is available at http://www.streamtheory.com/partners/.

"As everyone in the industry knows PC game publishing is no longer 'business as usual,'" said Steig Westerberg, CEO, Stream Theory. "Stream Theory is pleased to offer publishers, developers and digital distribution providers the opportunity to earn new revenues from an emerging and active worldwide customer base -- the broadband consumer."

Games on Demand is a broadband-only service that streams games without being installed to a consumer's PC. Unlike one-time purchases at retail or through installed downloads, Games on Demand subscriptions provide recurring revenue streams for game publishers and distribution partners.

Stream Theory is attending E3 this week in Los Angeles. To meet with Stream Theory, please email sales@streamtheory.com for an appointment.
