Ernest Adams, noted game designer and one of the founders of the International Game Developers' Association called it "a perfect short game." Critics erected temples and worshipped its greatness. Fans adored it so much that they named their children after its most famous characters. Probably. Or maybe darling Zorg Tan Ru from Kalamazoo was just a strange coincidence.
What is "it"? Why, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space. Created, developed, and unleashed by Digital Eel the 2003 IGF finalist game was the predecessor to the 2006 IGF winning Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space and the upcoming board game, Eat Electric Death!
Up until now if one wanted to see the birth of the Infinite Space universe a monetary transaction was involved but those days are now over! Digital Eel, in their bid to attain Beatles-like popularity in the indie gaming world, has now made Strange Adventures in Infinite Space available for FREE.
Free. No check, money order, credit cards, or CODs accepted. Just click on the free games link found right below this paragraph and grab that sucker.

Besides Strange Adventures in Infinite Space the guys at Digital Eel have also made available-for FREE-their wacky match three game, Soup du Jour. Fear not the Soup Nazi, for yes, there will be soup for you!
Soup du Jour involves matching festively colored candy in a series of ever increasingly difficult levels of play. This isn't your mother's match three game though, no sir. First, this is a physics based match three game. Using bouncing, rubbery, gummy physics the candy will behave in a most peculiar manner. Then there is the dreaded Kitchen Gremlin. Kitchen Gremlins, while only having 1/2 HD, nevertheless can cause wicked problems for you through the use of bombs and dumbfire missiles. That's right, Soup du Jour is a match three game that features bombs and missiles! Remember kids, violence goes better with everything, even matching colored candies.
The complete Soup du Jour is available for download right now. Just follow this link:
