Steve Goldstein takes on new games law role
Stubbs Alderton & Markiles lawyer makes partner at LA-based firm
LA-based law firm Stubbs Alderton & Markiles has announced the promotion of Steve Goldstein to partner, as well as head of Interactive Entertainment and Videogames.
The firm, which represents Curse, Riot Games and Turtle Rock Studios among others, noted his impact on the games business since his appointment in 2008.
"Steve Goldstein has been an invaluable addition to our team," said Scott Alderton, managing partner at Stubbs Alderton and Markiles.
"His intense knowledge and his extensive relationships and reputation in the videogame industry have helped to position our Interactive Entertainment and Video Game practice as one of the best in the industry."
Goldstein was previously director of business development and general counsel at Flagship Studios prior to his latest stint at Stubbs Alderton & Markiles.
