AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sep 13, 2010 --

THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 and Star Wars: Vader Yourself are available for download on iTunes. The next generation version of the hit game, Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 incorporates Brass Monkey TM , a new revolutionary technology from Infrared5. About the Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 Game

This in-app purchase allows gamers to play Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 full-screen in their computer's web browser. This experience is perfect for Internet enabled televisions, large displays or for computers connected to a TV via HDMI. In addition to the Brass Monkey controller, the web version update includes new explosions, updated graphics, new 3D cockpits, and three new lighting features. To get started, players can visit http://www.starwars.com/games/playnow/trench_run/.

Mission: Use the Force to destroy the Death Star before it can fire upon the small Rebel base on Yavin's jungle moon. As part of the Rebel Alliance's Red Squadron, players dogfight with TIE fighters above the Death Star's surface, dodging obstacles and laser-fire as they maneuver into position to target a small thermal exhaust port the size of a womp rat. If successful, a direct hit will cause a chain reaction that will destroy the Death Star, thus saving the Rebel base from impending doom.

Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 also introduces new mission levels, five unique ships to play in the arcade options, and upgraded graphics and models for optimal performance. New levels include:

Escape - In this level, players can operate the Millennium Falcon's gun turrets to ward off Imperial TIE fighters during the original escape from the Death Star.

Han Solo - This level allows players to use the Falcon's guns to protect a Y-wing fighter squadron undertaking a bombing run.

Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 can be purchased at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/star-wars-trench-run/id335685707?mt=8 for the suggested price of $4.99.
