German developer keen games launches recruitment drive.
Frankfurt, October 21st, 2010 – Leading German developing studio keen games was assigned by Gameforge to develop the free to play browser game “Star Trek – Infinite Space”. The browser game of the world’s most popular Science-Fiction Franchise is planned to go live in summer 2011. To ensure high quality and a real Star Trek experience keen games is hiring ten new talents for Mission & Level-Design, Programming and Graphics.
For years the Star Trek Universe has thrilled millions of fans around the globe. In summer 2011 Gameforge will launch the free to play browser game developed by keen games under the title “Star Trek – Infinite Space”, which is situated in the time of “Deep Space Nine”. Jan Joeckel, Managing Director of keen games: “To produce a Star Trek Title is a dream come true for every developer. We are very proud that we will be a part of that game.”
Producer Sarah Steffen leads a team of 20 co-workers on this project at keen. She is devoted to the highest possible quality and authenticity. For that purpose, the developers at keen closely work with Star Trek Designers Michael and Denise Okuda. They assist the team with regards to visual elements and Star Trek know-how and assure that all fans will get the authentic Star Trek experience. The game will run in 3D and completely in the browser.
