Lukas Kugler and Barbara Schulz join Austrian studio.
VIENNA – September 8, 2009 - Sproing Interactive Media GmbH, Austria’s largest game development studio, today announced that industry veterans Lukas Kugler and Barbara Schulz have joined the development team in key production roles. Both have joined Sproing from European publisher DTP, where Kugler served as senior producer and Schulz was a product manager/producer. Lukas Kugler’s new role at Sproing is head of production, where he is responsible for all of the company’s projects at a senior level. Barbara Schulz has been named project manager and has the task of ensuring Sproing’s projects continue to meet the standards the company has for reliability, quality and versatility.

Lukas Kugler has held a variety of production roles at Virgin Interactive, Radon Labs, 49Games, and other companies within the games industry. He is a respected producer with more than 12 years of software industry experience. Kugler has worked on titles including Baldur’s Gate 2, Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance, Fallout Tactics, and others.
Barbara Schulz began her career in 2000 as a student tester for Tivola Publishing. Over the last 8 years, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in product management and production with companies including bhv Software and DTP. Schulz has worked on a number of franchises ranging from the Pet Vet series, to Riding Star.

Upcoming releases in 2010 include several unannounced titles.
