Spencer Halpin's: Moral Kombat

Documentary exploring violence in video games available to view free on Hulu.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hollywood, CA – August 9, 2010: The controversial documentary which probes the violence in video games issue, Spencer Halpin’s: Moral Kombat, is now free to view on Hulu.

“I’m excited to see the documentary available on Hulu, primarily because it gives those who want to learn more about the issue yet another portal option, “said Spencer Halpin, the film’s Director. “The violent video games U.S. Supreme Court review, dubbed Schwarzenegger v EMA, this winter will mean that millions of people interested in the subject – learning more about the First Amendment arguments, the rights of the creators and sellers versus their social responsibilities – now have a variety of ways that they can watch the film and become well-versed on the matter.”

In addition to Hulu and PSN, the film is also available on Amazon OnDemand, Apple’s iTunes, Microsoft’s Xbox Live, and Netflix (On Demand, as well as via Netflix for PS3, Wii and Xbox 360).

“I’ve been thinking about the movie a lot lately…to think that the Supreme Court is going to make a decision which impacts so many game-playing Americans is important on its face. But to think about all of the potential legal and social ramifications of the game industry losing, is just mind-boggling. Gamers and gaming have come a long way in their struggle for acceptance. This case is a make-it or break-it matter that affects us all,” concluded Halpin.
