Specialmove, one of the UK's leading games industry recruitment consultancy firms, has launched its brand new website today - www.specialmove.com . The website features a powerful, industry leading search & match engine, enabling jobseekers to quickly identify and apply for their ideal games industry job. At launch, the website has several hundred open job vacancies across a range of roles, many on an exclusive basis. A wide spread of locations are also covered too including the UK, the USA and Asia territories. What's more, every applicant who applies online will qualify for a FREE 4gb iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition*.
The website, which has been several months in development, will allow users to register, generate a profile, upload CV/Resumes, set preferences for job hunting, search for vacancies based on their profile or defined criteria and review the progress of all jobs applied for. The site also allows for quick registration, has the latest Specialmove news section and a rundown of the Top 10 Hottest jobs in the industry.
For Candidates, online registration is a simple 4 step process which only takes a few moments. The candidate then has the ability to upload their latest CV or resume. Once these details are logged, the candidate can update them at any time. This profile will be used to dynamically match the candidate to suitable jobs, presenting them with a shortlist of options. In addition, the highly experienced team at Specialmove will also be very active behind the scenes searching for that perfect vacancy.
For Clients, the new website will be able to rapidly and automatically identify suitable candidates from thousands of registered users on the Specialmove database. This is the first step before any candidate's details are sent to a client. Secondly, any potential candidates will be fully briefed by Specialmove on the specific company, location and position available. Once and only once the candidate has indicated their interest in the role and given their approval, will details be submitted to that particular client. Simple as this may seem, there are recruiters that simply don't follow this best practice often submitting candidates to clients without the candidates knowledge or approval.
