Speakers announced for next Game Job Conference
A line-up of speakers representing 16 major developers and publishers from across the industry has been announced for the San Francisco Game Job Conference, which takes place on June 4th at the Skyview Performing Arts Center.
The conference, which also features a resume workshop, is designed to provide assistance and information to artists, coders, writers, musicians, designers and others who want to work in the videogames sector.
Aimed at both students and professionals who want to move over from other industries, the event will provide a strong base of information as well as networking opportunities for local game companies to meet new talent and a showcase where attendees can show off their demo reels to industry professionals.
"This comprehensive program will identify trends and requirements as well as the qualifications and skill-sets that are in demand in the game industry," commented Game Initiative executive director Christopher Sherman. "The casual nature of this event allows attendees an unprecedented opportunity to interact with industry veterans, ask questions, gain valuable contacts and understand the business."
