Spain stays ahead of the game with IGA
Partnership with Media Game continues IGA's European expansion
Thursday 31st January/...IGA Worldwide, the leading independent in-game advertising network, has today announced an exclusive sales partnership in Spain - the fourth-largest video game market in EMEA*. The company will work with Media Game, part of the Market Sport Group, a Spanish agency with leading expertise in marketing and brand awareness in the sports sector.
The deal further widens IGA's global reach, with the creation of increased opportunities for local and regional advertisers throughout Spain. Market Sport will be able to reach gamers in the highly lucrative 18-34 male demographic, and increasingly diverse demographics including both females and 'grey gamers', through IGA's worldwide network.
IGA Worldwide currently generates around 200 million impressions per week in over 50 titles on its radial network for some of the world's leading brands across a number of sectors. The deal puts Market Sport in a strong position to capitalise on the influence of the in-game advertising industry and its predicted exponential growth.
Market Sport, which lists La Caixa - the third largest financial group in Spain - as one of its shareholders and currently provides marketing services for thousands of Spanish household names such as Telefónica, Vodafone and BBVA, will be serving dynamically-updated adverts into the Spanish and South American regions for businesses of a range of sizes. To date, the agency has served static in-game adverts to Pro Evolution Soccer - one of the most played football games ever.
