Sony has pulled out its big titles for the rest of 2007 and into 2008, unveiling over 30 titles for multiple PlayStation formats at a special event in the US.

Newly announced first-party titles are leading the pack, including Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, SOCOM: Confrontation, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, The Eye of Judgement and Folklore.

"As you would expect from the market leader, we are seeing a huge influx of games coming to all our PlayStation platforms in the remainder of our fiscal year," boasted CEO of Sony America, Jack Tretton.

"Users can expect more than 15 exclusive games and services for PS3, and another nine for PSP.

"This doesn't even take into account the wide variety of titles and game packs we have coming through the PlayStation Network. Given this raft of titles, I think we are very well positioned to meet the needs and wants of every PlayStation user as they build out their game libraries in the coming months," added Tretton.

As well as a healthy line-up for the PlayStation 3, Sony has unveiled new PSP titles such as Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and God of War: Chains of Olympus.

And that's not all, promised Tretton.

"We still have a few surprises up our sleeves for this fiscal. The games and services demonstrate the gameplay, community and entertainment possibilities you can have on PlayStation products," he said.
