Sony cancels Motorstorm Apocalypse in Japan
Racer delayed by natural disaster crisis deemed unsuitable for publisher's home territory
Sony has confirmed that PS3-exclusive racer Motorstorm Apocalypse has been cancelled in Japan, having previously delayed it indefinitely following the 11 March earthquake and tsunami.
No direct reasoning was given for the decision, Andriasang reports, but it seems highly likely that the title, which prominently featured catastrophic natural disasters, was deemed inappropriate for the region.
Determined players can still pick up a copy from other regions, but the title will now definitely not see a Japanese release.
