Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I
Out now on Wiiware; coming later this week to PSN, Xbox Live.
SAN FRANCISCO - October 11, 2010 - SEGA ® of America, Inc. today announced that Sonic the Hedgehog TM 4 Episode I is now available for download on WiiWare TM . Sonic’s all-new 2D journey will also be speeding to the PlayStation ® Network on Tuesday, October 12 and to Xbox LIVE ® Arcade for the Xbox 360 ® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on Wednesday, Oct. 13.
“Fans have been eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Sonic’s 2D saga for quite some time,” said Haruki Satomi, vice president of Digital Business at SEGA of America. “It gives me great pleasure to say that the wait is over - players around the world can now experience Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I on the console of their choice!”
Dr. Eggman, having survived yet another defeat at the end of Sonic and Knuckles TM , has decided to upgrade the best of his badniks with one single goal in mind: destroy the spiky speedster once and for all. Players will have to use classic moves like the Spin Dash and the highly versatile Homing Attack to sprint through enemies, traps and hazards as they hunt down the evil doctor yet again. Will the power of the Chaos Emeralds be enough to bring him down this time? There’s only one way to find out!
Sonic the Hedgehog TM 4 Episode I is available on WiiWare for 1500 Wii TM Points, and will be available on PlayStation Network for $14.99 and on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.
