LOS ANGELES (September 18, 2009) – SODMG Gamers is the next competitive gaming site for video gamers. Now launched, its free closed beta last Monday went extremely well. Receiving thousands of beta account requests and the closed beta received over 325,000 unique page impressions during the first week online.
On October 2nd 2009, we will be setting up tournaments only on Xbox live. However SODMG Gamers will be bringing in PS3 as well Nintendo Wii within the coming months for users to compete on those particular consoles to find gamers with similar title likes and battle for prizes, and of course the fun and love for the game!. This will include several new features and a completely redesigned tournament judging system.
“We are proud to announce that SODMG Gamers has partnered with PWNED.COM (PWNED) as the Official Gamer Social Network to advocate for consumers of interactive
Entertainment. The joint promotions will kick-off in fall 2009 through online Advertising initiatives and gaming expos around the world,” said Andrew Briggs, Founder of pwned.com.
“With this partnership both companies are embarking on an exciting new growth opportunity. By making PWNED accessible through SODMG Gamers tournaments we’re able to reach additional gamers who may not yet be members of SODMG Gamers,” said DeAndre Ramone Way, CEO of SODMG Gamers also known as Celebrity Rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em.
The strategic approach to incentive based social networking utilized by pwned.com will have site interactions, including but not limited to approving / requesting user friends, and viewing or commenting on videos, pictures, video, game trailers, game reviews, game previews, blogs, polls, clans, profile comments, video and photo tags, among others.
