SNK Playmore Corporation extends relationship with I-play

San Mateo, CA & London, UK - 28th September, 2005 - I-play, the mobile games company, today announced the extension of its licensing relationship with the SNK Playmore Corporation to encompass sequels to two of SNK's hugely popular mobile arcade classics. The agreement will see the launch of sequels to two of SNK's top franchises, published by I-play: The King of Fighters TM M2 and Metal SlugTM Mobile Impact.

The original two titles have played an important role in building I-play's market share in the European and North American markets. Metal SlugTM Mobile based on three of the legendary Metal SlugTM arcade games will give way to the new title Metal SlugTM Mobile Impact. The sequel sees our hero Marco deep inside enemy territory, where he must find the Control Room and stop the enemy before they use the feared Super Rocket and destroy the world.

The King of FightersTM M2, sequel to the original The King of Fighters mobile title, offers all the thrills and frenzied speed of the arcade game. Featuring three exciting modes: - Story, Survival and Battle the title brings a vast palette of martial art fun to mobile. Sub-games seamlessly combine with extreme martial arts action in a series of innovative special moves, allowing each character to perform a number of key actions in attack, defense and 'desperation mode'.
