ENGLAND, BASINGSTOKE (June 21st 2005), KOCH MEDIA today announce the exclusive signing of NESTLE'S global brand SMARTIES, for release on one of the leading world-wide gaming consoles. SMARTIES: MELTDOWN follows the crusade of BIG BLUE, a hero Smartie whose mission is to save the SMARTIES 'FACTORY SHIP' from the invasion of DR Soursweet and his stroopers. Jumping on board as the larger than life character voice of hero BIG BLUE is popular children's presenter; DAVE BENSON PHILLIPS (Planet Cook, Playdays and Playhouse Disney). Releasing OCTOBER 2005, SMARTIES: MELTDOWN opens up a world of interactive chocolaty fun for players young and old.

SMARTIES: MELTDOWN is a third person action adventure, based on the world famous Smarties confection. SMARTIES: MELTDOWN is set on a giant Smarties shaped 'factory ship' orbiting the Earth. Everything is working smoothly when suddenly the factory ship is attacked by a small armada of craft from the fleet of the evil DR Soursweet. MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

DR Soursweet, thwarted by the children of Earth turning their noses up at his own sugary creations the 'stroopers', has decided to take control of the Smarties factory. His sugar coated Stroopers quickly overrun the factory, shutting down production and imprisoning all the Smarties on board. All but one that is.....The Hero BIG BLUE.
