The Skype network is to launch a new games channel with the help of EasyBits Software.

The company is currently courting developers of casual games and offering access to the network's 196 million registered users.

Titles should come in at under 10MB and the company is promising to take care of billing, distribution, marketing and DRM issues.

Titles on the Skype Game Channel have a tentative price of EUR 4.99.
