European videogame and interactive entertainment distributor, Skream, has announced the launch of its dedicated trade portal, designed to remove distribution bottlenecks for independent and chain store retailers.
Following extensive consultation with buyers from both independent stores and multiple retail outlets, the company has invested heavily in the design and implementation of a singular trade purchase website, allowing 24-hour access to the entire Skream catalogue.
Skream.com has been specifically designed to provide a fast and accessible online experience, using 128 bit SSL secured credit and debit card ordering to ensure safety and privacy online.
Games and accessories are categorised by platform to enable fast browsing, and the streamlined ordering and delivery system reduces Skream's cost per unit; a saving which Skream says is passed directly to the retailers to allow them to retain their margins and reduce costs on every product purchased.
Skream MD Igor Cipolletta commented: "The new website gives us an entirely new way to interact with our clients and levels the playing field for all retailers, from the smallest independents through to the largest multiples."
"Skream.com provides us with the resources and capability to reach customers across the whole of Europe and ensure they have fast and easy access to all of our stock. The games market is growing at an incredible rate and the forthcoming launch of the next generation consoles promises to stimulate the market and accelerate this growth even further. Skream plans to be at the forefront of the games market as it continues to expand and skream.com is a key component in our future strategy."
Founded in 2002, Skream has quickly established a presence both in Italy and the UK. Providing distribution capabilities across the whole of Europe, the company is determined to continue its European expansion by establishing new offices in France and Germany within the coming twelve months.
