Now, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe are proud to announce, after much anticipation, the arrival of SingStar® Legends on PlayStation®2 - bringing your living room to life with a selection of the biggest household names in musical history.As the latest addition to the SingStar family, SingStar Legends boasts a play list that reads like a 'who's who' of music royalty; from Elton John to Nirvana and Tina Turner to Johnny Cash, SingStar Legends has something for everyone.
Out in time for Christmas, SingStar Legends is a great way to get all the family in the mood for some festive fun. With two high quality microphones that are easy to set up and even easier to use, up to eight players can compete in a sing-off whilst dancing away to the original music videos (where available). SingStar® is a sophisticated singing-based game for the PlayStation®2 console that uses software and specially designed microphones to judge your pitch, tone and rhythm and rate your performance. Each game contains up to 30 genre defining tracks and original music videos (where available).
The original 'SingStar®' was launched in May/June 2004 exclusively on PlayStationâ2 to public and critical acclaim, entering the charts at number one in most of Europe's biggest countries.
SingStar® Party, the follow-up, was launched pre-Christmas 2004-and included not only another great line-up of international artists, but also further 'party' and multi-player features, such as duets.
SingStar® Pop followed in the spring of 2005, introducing yet more original features and options including rap scoring and medleys, plus 30 of the biggest and best Pop hits of the last three years.
