Sims 3 takes UK chart top spot
Latest edition in the huge PC franchise takes number one on good week for THQ
The Sims 3 has, unsurprisingly, entered the UK all-formats chart at number one, according to the latest data released by GfK Chart-Track for sales ending June 6.

Newer title EA Sports Active just beat out the veteran Wii Fit into fifth place while Sony's InFamous dropped one place to sixth.
Pokemon Platinum fell five places to seventh in the chart, followed by Guitar Hero: Metallica, Virtua Tennis 2009 and Terminator Salvation.
Outside the top ten the main new entries included Codemasters' Fuel in twelfth, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel at 15, Star Ocean: The Last Hope in 18 and Mystery Stories at 20.
