Silkroad Online
GNGWC Brazilian qualifying round winners announced.
IRVINE, Calif. - Oct. 14, 2009
Joymax, an independent developer and publisher of interactive entertainment for the global market, today announced the winners of the 2009 Game & Game World Championship (GNGWC) Brazilian qualifying round for Silkroad Online. Surrounded by a crowd of fellow players, friends, and family, Lopes Gustavo and Hiramine Helio were awarded first and second place, complete with invitations to the Global Finals in Busan.
Only one qualifying round remains, to be decided this Saturday, October 17, in Tokyo. The two players who emerge victorious in the Japanese region will join Lopes, Hiramine, and all the previous regional winners in the final showdown on November 29.
“The competition for tickets to the finals keeps getting more and more fierce, but what truly impressed us in Sao Paolo was the community support for the competitors," said Jina Song, General Manager at Joymax. “One challenger’s entire family even showed up to cheer him on, proving just how friendly and supportive a gaming community can be!”
