Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remastered Edition is the updated version of the successful PC adventure Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. Due for release on the 23rd October 2008 by Ascaron and 93 Games, this classic point and click adventure game tests powers of observation and logic in enhanced atmospheric environments and from new player perspectives.

Whilst conducting investigations in the game, players will lead the infamous resident of 221B Baker Street down to London’s docks, through dark underground passages, dusty bookstores, grand mansions and raucous saloon bars in search of vital clues. The improved graphics feature new lighting, HD effects, shaders, shadows and new animations to help give the locations a distinctive and authentic 19th century feel.
Accompanied by loyal sidekick Doctor Watson, players can now choose between stepping into the first person mode of Sherlock Holmes himself or viewing gameplay in the new third person mode. This allows a more objective view, helping players to avoid missing any clues that must be scrutinized using Holmes’ iconic magnifying glass.
Other new features of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remastered Edition include an updated help system, which displays available actions on the screen to provide assistance with difficult puzzles.
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remastered Edition will be released on PC on October 23rd 2008.
