Recent deals bring a total of 300 free mobile games to Gamejump.com available on over 1000 handsets worldwide
FOR RELEASE WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15th 2006
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) - Mobile game publishers are jumping at the opportunity to join Greystripe's successful mobile in-game ad network with seven new publishers signing deals to distribute their titles through Greystripe's ad-supported mobile games portal GameJump.com. With these new partnerships, consumers can now download over 300 games completely free, all from GameJump.com.
"We looked at a couple of other technologies on the market, but the obvious partner was Greystripe. The AdWRAP system made it possible for us to just take our games, literally wrap them up, and get them out there ready for adver-gaming," said Pascal Bestebroer of OrangePixel. "We were up and running within a day."
With the new deals, the Greystripe network has now grown to a total of 35 game developers. This rapid growth-all since the product's launch just 5 months ago-demonstrates the mobile industry's excitement over Greystripe's AdWRAP technology and its proven ability to generate revenues via full screen advertisements from leading brands. Consumers are joining in just as quickly and downloading from GameJump's broad selection of hundreds of games that are supported across 1,000 compatible handset models.
"We are thrilled that mobile game publishers are sharing in the success and promise of our free ad-supported mobile content model," said Michael Chang, founder and CEO of Greystripe's GameJump.com. "GameJump.com's huge growth in game titles, handset compatibility, and game players is validation of the new business model that we've pioneered."
Hot titles from the seven new publishers include:
· Magnetic Joe and Inchville from Most Wanted Entertainment
· Mouse Panic and SuDoku Dragon Gems series by Mobile Amusements
· Watagame's Era of Eidolon seven game series, including BlackJack and Poker
· Toddlers and Rocket boy from Orange Pixel
· Tank Wars and Illuminator from Tracebit
· The Hero and Super Tonic Man by Fugu Mobile
· Viki Vans and Raptor Heavy Squad from Gameleons
"We are excited about an additional stream of revenue for our games. Ad-supported mobile content just makes sense and we are happy to be joining Greystripe and their successful model of free and ad-supported," said Tomasz Witt Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Gameleons.
