"Journey to the West"-based, 2D side-scrolling MMORPG readies itself for open beta test.

Seoul, Korea, February 25th, 2010 – Seoyugi, a 2D side-scrolling Massively Multiplayer Role-Playing Game, ended its first Closed Beta test (CBT) and now prepares for the Open Beta test. Seoyugi is developed by NNG and serviced by CJ Entertainment in Korea.

Seoyugi is based on the same title of the Chinese classic literature, Journey to the West. Just like Journey to the West, a character is able to cloud-travel, which provides a unique twist to the 2D side-scrolling feature. A player can travel great distances in a single leap and feel like playing a flight combat simulation game.

Seoyugi features a complicated keystroke that may take some time to get used to. But interestingly a player can set up a same key setting as in Maple Story.

In Seoyugi, there are unique systems such Collection Encyclopedia and Transformation. Collection Encyclopedia allows a player to have fun while collecting items by playing mini games or setting up auto-collect. If a player collect a Memory Debris and complete a Ghost Encyclopedia by hunting a monster, one can transform into the monster with the Transformation card. Using more than 100 cards, a player can transform into anything. Transformation card has five levels.

Seoyugi unveiled vast contents during the 1st CBT and now gearing towards to the 2nd CBT in the middle of March.
