Sennari receives nomination for mobile award
PrizePlay service nominated for GSMA accolade
Mobile gaming and CRM platform provider Sennari has been nominated for the prestigious 2006 Best Made for Mobile Game award by the wireless industry trade organisation, the GSM Association.
Based on Sennari's unique PrizePlay service, which offers mobile users a suite of games designed using a pay-per-play model with in-game prizes to encourage repeat play, the award nomination recognises the firm's ability to offer a 'made for mobile' application that produces compelling user attraction.
Sennari CEO Bill Barhydt commented: "Our goal is to deliver products that not only provide a fantastic user experience, but also bring real value to mobile carriers. The honour bestowed to us by the GSMA recognizes that our products are best in its class. We are looking forward to offering even more compelling products in the future."
The Best Made for Mobile Game award is part of GSMA's annual award program that has been honouring excellence throughout the industry since 1995. Winners will be announced during the forthcoming 3GSM World Conference, which is scheduled to begin on February 14th and will be hosted in Barcelona.
Rob Conway, CEO of the GSM Association, added: "The 2006 GSM Association Awards have been specifically designed to showcase the diversity of products and services and the quality, ingenuity and level of innovation that combine to fuel the mobile value chain. Entries this year have again exceeded our highest expectations, reflecting the vibrancy of the mobile industry on a global basis. This is reflected in Sennari's nomination for the 2006 Awards."
Initially launched in late 2004, Sennari's PrizePlay service is the first to offer a prize in every game, generating valuable repeat play and reducing customer churn. Each of the games in the PrizePlay suite supports a virtual currency called Bling, which can be redeemed from a continually expanding catalogue of prizes, ranging from mobile content and music to books, travel and dinner vouchers, gift certificates, DVDs, electronics and more.
