March 23, 2009 - Luxology®'s President Brad Peebler is back on the Web again with a fascinating podcast ("modcast") interview with renowned games artist and modeler Seneca Menard of independent game development studio id Software. Peebler's in-depth yet humorous interview with Seneca discusses how modo fits into his daily production pipeline and explores game design workflows ranging from 2D concept art to creating assets for an entirely new level inside of modo. Seneca has also been scripting in modo since its inception and says, "There are so many ways to do that same one thing, but [in modo] you can always find a way to do it faster." About Seneca Menard
Seneca Menard has been in the game development industry since his first job at Ion Storm Inc., where he had the opportunity to craft his modeling skills on the games Daikatana, released in 2000 and Anachronox, released in 2001. He has since worked on id's most iconic games, including Quake, Enemy Territory and the famous DOOM franchise. Seneca is currently working on the design of a new town for an upcoming undisclosed title.
