SEGA Signs Deal with Blade Interactive
World Snooker Championship 2005 to be published by SEGA

LONDON, UK - October 20, 2004 - SEGA® Europe Ltd, is proud to announce that they have signed a deal with Blade Interactive Studios to release World Snooker Championship 2005. World Snooker Championship 2005 will be launched at next year's World Championship in April 2005 on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Microsoft XboxTM, and PC formats. In addition to this, Blade is delighted to announce that it is developing World Snooker Championship for Sony's PSP , also releasing next year under the SEGA Europe deal.

Blade has confirmed a new exclusive license with World Snooker Ltd, Snooker's governing body. The agreement gives Blade the rights to use the images of all professional players that are a member of World Snooker, along with all tournament names, structures and venues, with the official endorsement and use of the logos of World Snooker Ltd.
