Sega Mobile launches Castle Jack Online on SNAP Mobile platform

San Francisco, CA, March 8, 2005 -- Sega Mobile, a leading mobile games developer, has successfully launched the hit Java game, Castle Jack Online, on the NTT DoCoMo iMode network. Castle Jack Online, a massively multiplayer online role playing game, puts the gamer in the role of king of a nation where one must form an army, strengthen his own castle and attack or defend against other marauding kings in the online virtual world. Players may subscribe to the game for ¥500 per month. Castle Jack Online has been developed on the Nokia SNAP Mobile platform.

"Sega Mobile has been an active participant in the mobile games space for many years," said Hiroshi Okamoto, Chief Producer of Castle Jack Online, Sega Mobile. "Since its inception, Sega Mobile has pushed to bring fun, innovative and new gaming experiences to mobile phone users. We believe that the market will begin to demand rich multiplayer and connected community games as the norm. Castle Jack Online is part of this new gaming experience as it incorporates online multiplay, chat, friends lists, presence and matchmaking among other features."

"The Nokia SNAP Mobile platform has provided us with a valuable tool in the development of feature rich, multiplayer Java games" adds Okamoto. "The platform handles many of the technology demands, included complicated online multiplay, and lets us focus on creating the best games for our consumers."

Castle Jack currently supports the FOMA 90x series of handsets. Castle Jack and other popular Sega Mobile games can be found at Sega's Dragoon Colosseum website at http://sega.jp/kt/docomo/dragoon/home.html.
