Only 2500 sales separate the top three games in the all formats charts — Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games remains at number one, with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare at two and FIFA 08 at three.

Bookies favourite Need for Speed: Pro Street is at number four this week, with The Simpsons Game at five.

Dr Kawashima's Brain Training is at six, with THQ's WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 at number seven.

Ubisoft's new IP Assassin's Creed is at eight this week, More Brain Training is at nine and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is at ten.
