SEGA Announces Line Up For Christmas

Release dates and platforms are confirmed for the titles due for release in the run up to Christmas 2005.

LONDON, UK - Month, day, 2005 - SEGA Europe Ltd, is today proud to announce its full product line-up for the months running up to the Christmas season. SEGA's catalogue is filled with a multitude of familiar classic IP's as well as brand new franchises to complete a bumper festive offering.

SEGA kick off with three new titles enabling gamers to indulge their passion for sport. Coinciding with the launch of the new Sony PSP handheld console on September 1st is the highly anticipated Virtua TennisTM: World Tour and World Snooker Challenge 2005®. PC players will be marking 4th November in their diaries as SEGA once again brings to market the next instalment of the Football Manager series. Football ManagerTM 2006 from Sports Interactive will be available for PC & Mac on one disk.

Shadow The HedgehogTM, will be appearing in his own computer game for the first time on the PlayStation®2, Xbox® and Gamecube on 25th November. Hero or Villain? You decide...! Sonic fans will not be disappointed this Christmas, with Sonic Rush providing unique high-speed platform action on the Nintendo DS also out 25th November. Retro gamers can indulge their passion with two new collections of classic old school games, Sonic Gems CollectionTM (30th Sept) and SEGA Classics Collection (28th Oct).

Condemned TM will be making it's debut on the new Xbox 360TM video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, allowing gamers to experience an unrivalled sense of psychological tension whilst searching for deadly sociopaths lurking on the edge of humanity.

Finally, from the award winning developer, The Creative Assembly comes the first expansion to the critically acclaimed Rome: Total War, Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion for PC which launches 30th September. The highly anticipated, Spartan: Total WarriorTM, CA's first console franchise will engage players in epic battles on 7th Oct for the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube.
