SEGA ANNOUNCES 'FULL AUTO™ 2: BATTLELINES' FOR THE PSP® SYSTEM

PSP Gamers to be Taken on a High Speed Ride Filled with Explosive Carnage and Massive Destruction

SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON (October 10, 2006) - SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. today announced that Full Auto2: Battlelines is being developed for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system. Full Auto 2: Battlelines puts high-speed vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor into fully realized and fully destructible urban street environments. Players can destroy the environment to dynamically change track conditions to block competitors, open new paths, or crush opponents with falling debris caused by well-timed missiles. Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP will feature exclusive content including a new 56 event single-player story mode, 15 selectable cars designed specifically for the PSP version, numerous multiplayer and arena modes via ad-hoc connections, and a host of new weapons guaranteed to cause massive destruction and havok.

"The PSP is primed and ready for the frantic action that Full Auto 2: Battlelines will deliver," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "The new cars, weapons, its 56 event single-player story-mode, and numerous multiplayer modes all add up to an unparalleled experience for gamers on the go."

Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP is currently being developed by Deep Fried Entertainment. Players can get behind the wheel of 15 different vehicles in Full Auto 2: Battlelines each with customizable skins. Vehicles can also be customized with a multitude of weapons including grenades, M60's, M203 grenade launchers, aircraft guns, mortars, fire & forget radar-guided missiles, and heat-seeking missiles. Taking on more than 15 original tracks in the game, players will immediately notice how Full Auto 2: Battlelines pushes the PSP's technological boundaries with breathtaking displays of destruction, physics, and speed.

In the 56 event single player campaign, players will battle through a variety of challenging modes, achieve a multitude of goals, and destroy numerous rivals - all the while destroying the environment and using the destruction to their advantage. Full Auto 2: Battlelines features three unique new districts on the PSP, each offering six tracks including Point-to-Point, Circuit, and Arena levels. The multiplayer portion of the game features different race modes via ad-hoc connections such as Head-On and Down & Back, or challenge others in Arena Deathmatch modes - all of which contain a variety of objectives. Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP also implements the fan-favorite Unwreck feature, which enable players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire. All the action is backed by a heart pounding sound-track featuring Stone Sour, Sum 41, We Are Scientists, Wolfmother and others.

Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the Sony PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system is currently in-stores across North America.
