SEED
Mobile RPG to be launched worldwide later this year following successful germination in Japan and South Korea.
United Kingdom – 27th March 2009 – Chillingo Ltd, Europe's premier iPhone publisher announces its plans to launch SEED - currently a hugely popular mobile role playing game in Japan and South Korea - to the rest of the world on the Apple App Store this autumn. The launch schedule will be in two installments, Q3 2009 and Q4 2009 respectively this year. Chillingo has signed an agreement with South Korean based mobile development studio CH Games Co., Ltd to adapt this game for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
SEED is set in a fantasy world which contains 22 unique towns, with a multitude of different battle fields to fight and conquer. Using innovative real-time technology which simulates day and night time, the player traverses through a virtual world collecting rare artifacts, enhancing experience, and battles using various weapons and armours in order to advance through the game. SEED will incorporate trading and selling capabilities and also real time multiplayer combat features thanks to new functionality provided by iPhone OS 3.0 due for release in the summer of 2009.
