Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp

Mystery Machine to be fired up again this autumn.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp, a new action adventure video game featuring fun, exploration-style mysteries with the characters kids know and love. For the first time, kids play as any of the Mystery, Inc. characters, including Scooby-Doo, at any time! Available in autumn 2010, in conjunction with the animated Scooby-Doo original movie Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare, the game will be available on Wii™, Nintendo DS™ and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.

“Scooby Doo! and the Spooky Swamp expands the Scooby-Doo franchise with more of the mystery and exploration that video game fans have come to adore,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Playing as any one of their favourite Scooby-Doo characters, kids and families can work together to find clues, use investigative tools and solve puzzles in humorous and hair-raising adventures.”

In Scooby Doo! and the Spooky Swamp, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred are on an all-new adventure to uncover the mystery behind a strange swamp girl and her peculiar cauldron of brew. Kids and their friends can travel beyond the swamp and into other haunted locales such as the snow covered Alpine village and the Southwestern ghost town to uncover more clues and solve the mystery of the strange brew.

In the team spirit of Mystery, Inc., players won’t have to face challenges alone. Drop-in, drop-out two-player co-op encourages friends and families to join in the case-cracking fun at any time throughout the game. Players can unlock fun costume pieces as well as collect Scooby Snacks to buy character accessories and clothing.

There are also new gadgets and tools to help uncover hidden clues and secret investigations. All new brain-teasing puzzles, enemies and epic boss battles are sure to keep kids challenged and mystified in this classic caper adventure.

The game is being developed by Torus Games. For more information about the game, please visit www.Scooby-DooVideogames.com.

Additionally, Scooby-Doo fans can experience the creepiest campfire ghost stories, as they come to life in the all-new, must-have, animated Scooby-Doo original movie Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare, available in retail outlets this autumn from Warner Home Video. Viewers will want to join in the high-jinks with that lovable Great Dane and the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang as they explore some mysterious goings-on at a haunted summer camp.
