Saintxi joins TIGA

Indie game developer joins UK trade association.

Saintxi is an independent game developer with a strong focus on iconic game design. The creative force of the company has over 10 years experience in games development, producing titles from polished single player to massively multiplayer games.

In 2009 Saintxi released its first independent title ‘Light of Altair’, a sci-fi colony building game for the PC. The company is now working on ‘Moon Base Eridani’, a sequel to ‘Light of Altair’ that lets players see the original story from a very different perspective. ‘Moon Base Eridani’ is due for release in 2011.

Also in development and due for release in 2011 is a multiplayer game based on the Light of Altair universe.

Saintxi is currently seeking a worldwide publisher for this game and is keen to speak to any TIGA members interested in finding out more.

Thomas de Rivaz explains the company’s reasons for joining TIGA:

“At Saintxi we are passionate about independent development and building rich immersive games that draw the player into new worlds and experiences. We have joined to TIGA to take advantage of the benefits they offer to small developers and to network with the wider UK games community.”

Dr. Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO stated: “TIGA is committed to helping small independent developers who have always been the creative lifeblood of our industry. We look forward to working with Saintxi and welcome the team to the TIGA community.”
