SACRED plus - REVISIT ASCARON'S AWARD WINNING ROLE PLAY

MIDLANDS, England (October 18th, 2004) - European games publisher, ASCARON ENTERTAINMENT rally new PC adventures to the launch of SACRED plus on the 22nd October 2004. Priced at £19.99, SACRED plus is a 'producers cut' of the award winning role play game, which released earlier this year. Containing numerous updates to the core game, enhanced features, brand new sub quests and unique regions, the game offers players a refreshing and fuller role play experience in the world of Ancaria. Published by ASCARON ENTERTAINMENT and exclusively distributed in the UK by KOCH Media, SACRED plus will be in stores from the 22nd October.

The extended version of the hit title created by Ascaron has been finalized. Furthermore, all available internet updates and improved features are included. The new retail edition of Sacred Plus will be available internationally from 22nd October in the UK, Scandinavia and Benelux. The French edition will be available from October 29th. Other markets including the USA and Canada, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Portugal, Australasia, South Africa, The Middle Eastern Countries, Greece, and Turkey will also release the International version over the next 4 weeks.

SACRED PLUS incorporates all feedback from the player-community since the first release of Sacred. This includes an improved multi-player experience, an optimized interface and completely revised in-game balancing. This version also contains completely new features to make adventuring in Ancaria even more challenging.

All previous patches and updates will remain valid.

New features of SACRED PLUS:

  • Two new regions
  • Two new main quests with many side quests
  • Five new opponents, one additional enemy boss
  • Six new sets of armor
  • Fifteen new types of weapons
  • All available updates and patches

Existing SACRED gamers also gain these additional benefits: The new regions and missions as well as all other previous patches will be available as a free download for all owners of the original version. The expansion will be available from Tuesday 19th October from www.sacred-game.com. Several online magazines will also offer the download.
