Runaway: A Twist of Fate
Third and final Brian and Gina adventure.
Today, Focus Home Interactive and Pendulo Studio released the first official screenshots from their upcoming Nintendo DS™ and PC adventure game - "Runaway: A Twist of Fate." The third and last adventure of Brian and Gina, this episode will indeed close the saga.
The first two "Runaway" episodes brought back the success of point and click adventure games in Europe and captivated nearly a million players. After a colorful second episode which took place in the islands of Hawaii, the creators of the game lead us into a more mature and urban universe for this last adventure with Brian and Gina. Following the story of the previous game, "A Twist of Fate" is also very much an independent adventure, allowing those that have never played a "Runaway" game before to fully enjoy this brand new experience. Also, for the very first time in the "Runaway" series, the game will allow you to control Brian as well as Gina who has an important part to play in the story.
"Runaway: A Twist of Fate" is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of 2009 on PC and the Nintendo DS™.

As shown on the new images, "Runaway: A Twist of Fate" has visually improved. Thanks to a new graphic engine, the game now has high-resolution backgrounds, more detailed and expressive characters and more realistic animations. The interface has also been improved, and offers an inventory system allowing you to check each item from every angle possible. You will also find an ingenious hint system that will guide you through difficult situations without giving away the solution to the puzzles.
Of course, both the unique visual style and the omnipresent humor that appealed to players of the first two games have been retained in order to make "A Twist of Fate" a rich experience, full of novelties and unexpected turns yet still faithful to the "Runaway" spirit.
