Roogoo Attack!
Info on the underwater environment.
Environment Four: Underwater
After hiking through the mountains, players will dive deep into the depths of Planet Roo’s Underwater region in search of more meteors. While underwater, players will also get to assemble treasure chests and gather booty while enjoying the serenity of the deep blue sea.
Of course, the Roogoo are not alone here; Prince Moo is still determined to steal all of the meteors and he brings mines and additional Meemoo along with him. As players stack meteors and rotate platforms, Prince Moo commands either Meemoos or mines to hinder the safe passage of meteors like he did on the Mountains. In addition to these hazards, the blockers and rotating platforms are back too so players must be very alert to avoid losing meteors. If unsuccessful, players will watch their lost shapes slowly drift away with the current.
Before advancing to the next level, players will have a chance to skydive and dry off. However, these players must watch out for more mines that have been unleashed in the skies.
Environment 5: Swamplands
Players emerge from the depths of the Underwater region and surface within Planet Roo’s Swamplands. The serene waves have been replaced by sporadic flashes of lightning, continuous rain and dense clouds – all contributing to a gloomy landscape.
Players will encounter similar challenges from previous environments while collecting meteors. Prince Moo has followed players to the Swamplands and has a new attack that dramatically reduces the speed of the descending shapes. This change in gameplay affects the timing for shapes passing through blockers that can be found in multiple levels.
In addition to the new challenges, players will also learn a new technique that alternates the order of shaded shapes in a stack. Players must match like shades together when the stack lands or watch the shapes fall into the murky swamp.
Environment 6: Ice
Players must prepare for the cold weather as they cross the Ice area. Snowflakes fall gently and cover the ground. Players get to play in the snow by assembling snowmen and nests for chickens to hatch their eggs.
While progressing through the Ice area, players will encounter new types of platforms. In addition to the flipping platforms, there are ones marked with arrows that increase the speed of shapes once they pass. Players must rotate the following platform very quickly to avoid losing the stack.
Of course, the Ice area would not be complete without the troublesome Meemoos around attempting to slip players up. Certain levels are overrun with Meemoo so players must be prepared to attack them using the speed technique learned previously and use it often.
