Rock classics drive motorists over the limit!

12th April

Guns N Roses, Meat Loaf and Bruce Springsteen are listed as just some of the artists to avoid if you want to drive safely a survey released today shows. To mark the launch of new racing videogame Burnout Dominator the results reveal the tracks that drivers, in the real world, should avoid if they want to stay on the right side of the law and avoid aggressive driving!

Electronic Arts have linked up with AOL music to commission a poll into the top tracks that got people in the 'Burnout' mood to drive aggressively, get the blood pumping and the adrenaline racing. So far 1,000 voters have created a short-list showing that the rock classics get them really revved up - ones to avoid when driving in the real world!

It wasn't the tracks you might expect that put voters in an aggressive mindset but classic tracks such as Motorhead 'Ace of Spades' and Guns N Roses 'Paradise City' that really got drivers blood pumping.

The Top 10 shortlist spanned over more than 30 years of chart toppers from Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run' (1975) through to The Killers 'When we were Young' (2006). Surprisingly none of them were number ones..

Shortlist:

1.Guns N Roses - Paradise City

2.Blur - Song 2

3.Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell

4.Motorhead - Ace Of Spades

5.The Killers - When We Were Young

6.Feeder - Buck Rogers

7.Prodigy - You Will Be Under My Wheels

8.Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run

9.Fall Out Boy - This Ain't A Scene...

10.Soft Cell- Tainted Love
