Retailer points to $100 Xbox 360 price cut

Price of Kinect bundle could drop at E3

US retailer Target has suggested that the Xbox 360 Kinect bundle will receive a price cut of $100, to $299.

Although few details are available on the retailer's website, if true, a cut is likely to happen next week at E3 when Microsoft reveals a slate of new games for the system.

Nintendo recently cut the price of the Wii in the US by $50, with UK retailers reducing the price significantly and offering the latest bundle for less than £100.

Microsoft's E3 briefing takes place on Monday June 6 at 4pm GMT/9am PT.
