Report: Microsoft to "shake up management" at games division

Changes could happen as early as this week, suggest WSJ

A report by the Wall Street Journal is suggesting that Microsoft is set to "shake up the management" of its Entertainment and Devices division, the group responsible for Xbox 360.

The WSJ suggested that changes may happen as early as this week, although no specific details were given.

Entertainment and Devices, which also includes the Zune business, PC and mobile operating systems, was responsible for $165 million in profit in the third quarter, and $851 million for the nine months to March 31.

Yesterday it was reported that J Allard, original evangelist for the Xbox project is currently on sabbatical from Microsoft and is unlikely to return to the company.
